We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our GFCoE Controllers team. This role is located in Chennai, TN - HYBRID .

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our GFCoE Controllers team. This role is located in Chennai, TN - HYBRID .
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- The incumbent is responsible for monitoring Month end close activities/variance analysis, General Ledger Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
- The key role includes for Journal entry process and Blackline General ledger reconciliations.
- Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on various Sub-ledgers / Accounting Knowledge / Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities
- Excellent knowledge and expertise in month end close, Accrual & Prepaid, variance analysis, Lease Accounting
- Comprehending the Agreements/Statement of works and determine the accounting is very much required.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in review of journal entries including substantiation of supporting documentation, usage of affiliates for IC transactions and general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations
- The role will need to take decisions/ escalate issues to the local/onshore management
- Incumbent will need to act and develop oneself by proactively identifying unique business scenarios found throughout all aspects of the process cycle, thinking differently, formulating and implementing process improvements to drive speed and simplicity by gaining credibility, influencing and partnering across a diverse array of cross-functional teams.
- S/he may provide analytical support to activities such as audits, the fulfillment of ad hoc requests, and other special projects as assigned.
- Be a self-starter, passionate and a good communicator in order to establish relationships and build connectivity.
- Demonstrates a genuine ability to and interest in building relationships with stake holders so one can deliver customer-centric solutions
- Demonstrate the best practice which gained in earlier experience and deploy it in current process and have to really work on process Improvement and eliminate manual efforts.
- 12 + Year experience in Record to Report (R2R - General Accounting)
- Qualification - M.Com / MBA/CWA-Inter/ CA-inter with 10+ or more years of post-qualification Or CA, CPA or CWA, with 6 + or more years of post-qualification experience
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Strong finance and accounting skills
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Analytical – Display ability to dive into very arcane details on financials
- He / She Should have experience in Client handling (preferably Overseas Clients)
- Confident and calm demeanor with ability to perform under pressure
- Preferable He / She are having experience in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Investment Management and Investment services
