Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location: Rajkot
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead field sales operations for electric 3-wheelers in Jammu & Kashmir. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in automotive field sales—preferably in the 2-wheeler or 3-wheeler segment—and a strong understanding of regional dealer networks. This is a field-intensive role focused on dealer development, sales execution, and local market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers to strengthen the regional distribution network
Conduct regular field visits for dealer performance review, motivation, and support
Achieve area sales targets through targeted strategies and local market engagement
Develop and execute territory-specific dealer sales plans
Deliver in-person training and guidance to dealer sales staff
Track competitor activity and market dynamics via direct field intelligence
Maintain timely and accurate reporting of field operations and dealer performance
Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant local regulations
Education
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory)
Experience
MBA/PGDM in Marketing (Preferred)
Minimum 2 years in field sales, preferably in the 3-wheeler or 2-wheeler automotive sector
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting
Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred)
Functional Skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills in a field setting
Deep understanding of dealership operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time and priorities effectively across a broad geographic region
Key Competencies
Sales strategy execution in field environments
Dealer relationship and performance management
Regional market analysis and feedback reporting
Product demonstration and dealer-level training
High self-motivation and target orientation
