Finance Specialist in Thane

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Taxation:
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with Indian tax regulations.
• Manage tax planning and strategy to optimize tax liability.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• International Taxation:
• Assist in managing international tax matters, including transfer pricing and cost-plus accounting.
• Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare documentation and reports for transfer pricing audits.
• Transfer Pricing:
• Conduct transfer pricing analysis and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in preparing transfer pricing policies and reports.
• US Tax Accounting:
• Support the finance team with US tax accounting processes.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of US tax returns.
• Stay updated with changes in US tax laws and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably with exposure to international tax and US tax accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and regulations.
• Experience with transfer pricing and cost-plus accounting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
