Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate Art Teacher for a part-time position at Podar Education Network in Hubballi. This junior-level role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in teaching art, aiming to engage and inspire students through creative expression. The ideal candidate will have skills in classroom management, student engagement, as well as the ability to adapt visual arts lessons to inspire young minds.


Qualifications and Skills

  • A master's degree in a related field, with a focus on visual arts or education (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in classroom management to maintain a conducive learning environment (Mandatory skill).
  • Student engagement techniques to motivate and inspire students (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong knowledge of visual arts, including techniques and history, to provide a comprehensive curriculum.
  • Experience in lesson planning to create structured and effective teaching sessions.
  • Capability in curriculum development to align with academic and developmental goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff for a supportive environment.
  • Adaptability and creativity in incorporating new methods to enhance teaching effectiveness.

  • Plan and implement engaging art lessons that stimulate students’ creativity and self-expression.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that welcomes diversity in artistic expression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into the broader school curriculum.

  • Organize art exhibitions and displays to showcase students' work to the school community.
  • Stay updated with current trends in art education to continuously enhance curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through various art projects and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and any potential areas of improvement.
