- Logistical qualifications and analytical thinking ability
- Negotiation and business relations skills
- Precise verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong industry experience for accurate product/service quality assessments
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical expenses
- Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews, and analysis to assess their quality
- Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit the company
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the quality of goods
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
- Material planning and procurement through intercompany and third-party suppliers
- Managing imports and coordinating with other units in foreign territories
- Encouraging suppliers for warehousing and warehouse management
- Designing strategies for inventory and monitoring inventory levels
Education And Experience
- Any Science graduate, Diploma holder, or Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Sourcing and implementation of best practices in purchasing.
- Supplier management and new product development.
- Raw material (RM), value analysis (VA) data/analysis, and value engineering.
- Supply chain management and project management.
- Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and supplier selection.
- Quality assurance.
