What You’ll Do

As a Developer within the scrum team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development lifecycle, including participating in discussions on requirements and design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Developing and maintaining robust solutions for various challenges, with an emphasis on quality and testability.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and code to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
  • Participating in prototyping activities to help evaluate potential solutions.
  • Developing user interfaces (UIs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Gaining experience across different layers of the technology stack, including UI development, API development, and database concepts.
  • Actively learning and applying new development skills and technologies.
  • Contributing to testing efforts to ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Assisting in the analysis and resolution of technical issues.
  • Demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.

What You Bring

  • 1-4 years of demonstrable experience in Java and cloud development.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology, with a major in Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Technology/Science, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles.
  • Good proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with the SAP UI5 framework would be an advantage.
  • A strong aptitude for learning and applying new development skills and technologies quickly.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a team.

Meet your Team

The Collaboration Services team is a vital part of the SAP Analytics Cloud infrastructure, responsible for developing and maintaining key services that enable user collaboration, commenting, translation, and notification features. These services are also exploring the integration of GenAI capabilities. The team is also involved in delivering the UI framework for Composable Analytics. We foster a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on delivering reliable and scalable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful features within a leading cloud analytics platform
