About the Role
The Public Arts Trust of India (PATI) seeks a motivated and resourceful Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to build brand visibility, develop new audiences, and support the design and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns. Based in Jaipur, this is a hands-on, intermediate-level role ideal for someone excited by the challenge of growing an emerging cultural institution’s footprint across India and beyond.
You will work closely with the Director and curatorial teams to communicate the impact of PATI’s work through compelling storytelling, dynamic digital strategies, and community-driven campaigns—both online and on the ground. You’ll also contribute to the promotion of our major events, Jaipur Art Week and Jodhpur Arts Week, and support the organisation’s public outreach and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media and Content Management
• Manage the content calendar and ensure regular, high-quality posting across PATI’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms)
• Capture and edit photos and videos, including behind-the-scenes content and real-time Stories during events and install phases
• Produce and schedule content in alignment with the editorial calendar, in collaboration with the curatorial team
• Support the development and rollout of social media campaigns for programmes, open calls, and audience outreach
• Track analytics and insights across platforms, providing monthly reports to the Leadership Team, and using this data to refine PATI’s digital strategy
• Make newsletters using Mailchimp and write blog-style updates that reflect PATI’s voice and values, while managing and segmenting PATI’s mailing lists to target communications effectively across audience demographics, including VIP and general publics
Marketing & Brand Development
- Assist in the development and execution of digital and on-ground marketing campaigns to expand awareness and engagement
- Maintain and evolve PATI’s visual identity across platforms and marketing materials
- Ensure brand consistency in all internal and external communication
- Manage procurement and creation of high-quality documentation, photography, and design assets
- Execute both print and digital marketing needs, including production and vendor coordination
Audience Engagement & Outreach
• Identify creative strategies to grow and diversify PATI’s audiences—both digitally and through on-ground activations
• Maintain and expand contact databases (press, patrons, artists, stakeholders), ensuring accurate segmentation, regular updates, and effective list management via Mailchimp
• Lead audience development initiatives by managing two distinct engagement tracks: a VIP vertical with personalised communications and hospitality, and a public-facing vertical focused on access and inclusion
• Oversee VIP audience communications, including invitations, RSVPs, targeted outreach, and post-event follow-ups
• Design and implement targeted surveys using tools like SurveyMonkey to evaluate audience experience and inform programming and outreach strategies
• Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for audience engagement, and support the development of new metrics and reporting tools to enhance data collection and programme responsiveness
• Represent PATI at public events, ensuring consistent, on-brand communication and community engagement on-site
Event Promotion & Marketing Collateral
• Plan and execute communications around public programmes, including pre-event buzz, real-time event coverage, and post-event content
• Coordinate the production and dissemination of marketing assets—such as posters, signage, flyers, decks, and reports—in collaboration with PATI’s in-house designers
• Manage production timelines and liaise with vendors for the printing and delivery of event-related signage and marketing materials
• Work with programming and production teams to prepare, produce, and install branding and wayfinding signage across all venues during Jaipur and Jodhpur Art Week
• Support the planning, implementation, and performance tracking of paid promotions across digital platforms; manage campaign budgets to ensure optimal visibility and return on investment
What We’re Looking For
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or related fields
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media, or event communications (internships or freelance work included)
• Familiarity with campaign planning, digital strategy, and paid promotions
• Working knowledge of tools such as Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and SurveyMonkey
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt across projects and platforms
• Interest in arts, culture, and community-building
• Strong storytelling skills, excellent writing ability, and a keen visual sensibility; basic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) are a plus but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal communication, with a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Basic proficiency in analytics tools and a desire to experiment, evaluate, and improve
