Sandvik Mining & Rock Solution, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has an opening for a Rock Tools Application Engineer – CPM.This position is based at Baroi (HZL) and will report to the CPM Contract Incharge, ROTO Division. He is responsible for managing Rock Tools in Shifts at Baroi Mines(HZL) and deliver world class customer support. This is accomplished by scheduling, planning, and executing the rock tools on contractual requirements.

Responsibilities
- Complies with safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Identifies and reports any unsafe work habits.
- Strives to find safer ways for customers to work with Sandvik’s products.
- Working in Surface & UG workshops as directed by reporting manager.
- Managing site team.
- Documentation, Report preparation and Record Keeping
- Interacting with Customers on daily basis
- Payment Follow-up and Tracking
- Inventory Management
- Tracking of Rock Tools performance
- Monthly review meetings with the Customer
- UG Site Audits
- Rock Tools selection
- Operator Trainings
- Bit Re-sharpening & value-added services to enhance Rock Tools performance.
- Compliance to all EHS Rules & Guidelines is always ensured.
- Maintain and ensure housekeeping at workplace.
- Roster Plans
- Maintaining Grinding Machine with an availability of 90%.
- Troubleshooting of product failures
- Digitalizing Contracts by implementing Track & My Rock Tool reports.
- Degree/Diploma with minimum 2 years of work experience in Mining & Tunnelling Sites
- Direct knowledge of the Sandvik Rock Tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a team environment and Safety culture driven
- Ability to work standard and non-standard working hours or days
- Ability to travel
- Ability to manage a small team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to train and transfer knowledge skills
