The purpose is to outline the key responsibilities of HR Consultant role. This position is critical in supporting HR Partner while delivering generalist HR services to enhance our HR function, streamline HR processes and contribute to a positive work culture.
Responsible for all of the below aspects:
· Provide proactive HR consulting support and solutions to the Jacobs’ business (HR Advice & coaching, Workplace Investigations, Employment Relations, Talent Management, Performance Management, Talent Reviews & Succession Planning, Remuneration Advice, HR Sales & Bid support, Organizational Change including Redundancy Management)
· Initiate & execute human resource programs and projects for the business & region as required
· Support the delivery of the HR strategy and priorities within the business
· Support the delivery of India and local business strategy, priorities, and initiatives
· Work closely with GBS, Payroll, global mobility, Learning and Talent Management and TA teams for smooth execution of employee life cycle activities
· Support HR Projects (both Regional, Global and Local
· Continually develop a strong understanding of Jacobs’ business and current and future activities/challenges - drive HR priorities and solutions accordingly
· Work with HR team members to provide seamless HR support to Operations
· Attend and actively participate in functional/sector meetings to ensure human resources issues are proactively identified, understood and addressed.
· Play a lead role in educating the business on HR processes, policies and systems to ensure fair and equitable application
· Undertake necessary HR Reporting and analysis of HR metrics to drive solutions (Preparation of Monthly Talent Reports and exit analysis)
· Partner with leaders to provide commercially astute people management advice to managers across the full range of HR activities (i.e. hire to retire)
· Provide advice and recommendations to HR Delivery Partner for resolution of daily issues
· Initiating Engagement Activities for the business.
· Other duties may be assigned within the scope of the role and as directed by the HR Delivery Partner
Relevant Experience with a Bachelor's/ Master's degree
Essential HR skills include role-specific and soft skills, as well as business acumen and digital and data literacy & a flair to grow & contribute to organizational success.
