About The Role

This position will be for the new requirements from the Kitchen & Bath business & specifically related to Project Analyst portion for NPD and Process Excellence projects

This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing business processes using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement frameworks.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work on various projects at Kohler India Technical Center in Pune
    • Support global business teams on various projects
    • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
    • Requirements gathering
    • Support in executing projects on time by following up with internal teams and stakeholders
    • Conduct daily/weekly meetings, follow up with teams to ensure that tasks are completed
    • Assist in documenting and publishing project reports


  • Process Excellence:
    • Supporting/Leading/Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
    • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, workflows, SOPs, and performance metrics
    • Implement and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of process changes.
    • Collaborate with business leaders and functional stakeholders
    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across departments.
    • Support the adoption of automation and digital tools to streamline operations.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess impact and capture lessons learned.
    • Utilize data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to create insightful reports and dashboards


  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement, ISO:
    • Initiate and generate various reports (operational metrics)
    • Benchmark and implement various methods to improve productivity and efficiency
    • Be a part of the ISO team executing flawless project documentation
Qualification & Experience

Required

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Sound stakeholder management with global counterparts (US, APAC, EMEA)
  • Knowledge of Project Management skills
  • Proven experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience (including approximately 2+ years in Process Excellence role)
  • Documentation skills, attention to detail
  • Lean Six sigma Green Belt certified

Preference For Candidates Would Be Given If They Have

  • 6+ years of experience (including 3+ years in Project Management/Process Excellence role)
  • Experience in Past roles in Engineering and/or Manufacturing is a bonus.
  • Data Management experience preferred.
  • CAPM/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis software (e.g., Visio, Excel, Power BI).

Other Details

Since the role would also include to support USA, China and Europe regions, the associate should have the flexibility to work in shifts that may range from 6 am-3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30 pm OR in regular India working hours. (Subject to change)

Travel

This role may demand travel >30% domestic / international.
