About This Role

Supports business growth, service enhancements, and cost to serve productivity gains by identifying and implementing, through project work, supply chain and end-to-end (E2E) improvements to a single business, multiple businesses or an envelope. Interacts with global or other regional teams, when needed. Project activities will focus on E2E design to enable a business in the region and to support the business expansion into new markets, and on re-designing /optimizing existing supply chains networks or other functional structures in the E2E space for the business. Maximizes business value growth, economic profit, cash flow and customer service through improvements in supply chain costs, capital investment, asset utilization, productivity and quality.

In this role, you will require in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your discipline's best practices and how they relate to others. Hence this role will have an element of Planner/ Operations activities i.e. Decides what, when and where to produce for multiple production sites or multiple plants at one site, within a single business or multiple smaller businesses. Balances supply and demand over the tactical horizon, to achieve optimum product availability, asset utilization and supply chain efficiencies. Plant locations will be in a single region or a number of plants globally.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the design and optimization of supply chains through the use of optimization tools (linear programming, spreadsheet analysis) and tests supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through modeling techniques (simulation.
  • Optimizes or designs supply chain infrastructures (distribution networks, plant locations, outsourcing) as well as technologies (distribution equipment, packaging materials and packaging equipment design).
  • Participates on supply chain strategy development, including customer/product mix analysis, customer/product segmentation, channels-to-market, capital investment, and sourcing decisions.
  • Supports Business Growth initiatives by designing and implementing key E2E & Supply Chain Capabilities according to business requirements.
  • Builds new capabilities models and implement solutions to enable business growth initiatives - like new logistics capabilities (tanks, warehouses, blends, etc.) while interacting and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Leads, develops, decides, communicates and implements tactical plans across the assigned plants – while maintaining strong linkage into Plants to ensure conformance to schedule and drive labor / capacity plans, and into Areas to secure customer service delivery.
  • Ensures that strategic and tactical business decisions are made with a full and integrated understanding of current and future supply chain capabilities, potential impacts to service, cost, working capital and sustainability, and effective risk management/mitigation.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Improvements or Project Management.
  • University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering or other Sciences.

Your Skills

  • Should be good into Supply chain management skills, critical thinking, specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in job discipline.
  • Interpersonal effectiveness, taking initiative, problem solving skills, value creation.
  • Technical proficiency in use of computer applications, analytical skills, project management skills, independent decision-making skills.

Additional Notes

  • No Relocation support is provided on the role.
  • Candidate should be ok for Time zone flexibility.
