IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer - Linux to join our dynamic team. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Linux production environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Linux production environment, including servers, applications, and databases
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the production environment
• Implement and maintain automation tools to improve efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and systems
• Conduct regular performance and security audits to identify and address any potential risks
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the production environment
• Create and maintain documentation for all production processes and procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
  

Additional Parameters

• Certification in Linux or related technologies is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices is a plus
