Role/Job Title: Relationship Manager-Personal Loan

Function/ Department: Rural Banking

Job Purpose

The role entails building and deepening relationships with Rural Banking accounts and ensuring best in-class service to the customers. The role bearer has a responsibility to identify Business owners / entrepreneurs in the defined catchment and assess their business loan needs. The role bearer is responsible for driving client acquisition, building household level customer relationships and capitalizing on lifetime value in each relationship to achieve larger organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive Personal Loan business through assigned bank branch.
  • Create and drive alternate channels for sales along with regular channels.
  • Open new avenues for business through corporates.
  • Mentor, guide & motivate the sales team to meet the required target/productivity.
  • Recruit & train team members from time to time.
  • Keep empaneling new corporates for Personal Loan sourcing.
  • Conduct marketing/promotional activities to enhance visibility of PL.
  • Give regular feedback to product, credit & process for improvement.
  • Coordinate with credit, operation to ensure best in class TAT.
  • Maintain high level of collection efficiency.
  • Conduct end-user checks as specified post disbursal of loans while achieving monthly and annual loan booking targets.
  • Contribute to penetration of PL self-sourced high value business in Rural markets through self-lead generation and as per needs of customer offer the PL.
  • Monitor high collections efficiency through discipline and drive.
  • Gather latest Market intelligence and track and benchmark against best practices in competitor banks and NBFC.
  • Evaluate the growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/customers.
  • Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
  • Manage a team of field officers, taking responsibility of their development and attrition.
  • Develop and implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
  • Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.
  • Enable teams to drive growth targets by providing necessary support.

Education Qualification

Graduation: BA / BCom / BBA / BSc / BTech / BE or any other graduate.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant rural banking experience.
