Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agri-businesses in the rural areas of Erode
- Understand the financial needs of these customers and provide them with suitable banking solutions
- Cross-sell various banking products and services to increase the bank's revenue
- Conduct regular visits to the customers' farms and businesses to understand their operations and provide personalized banking solutions
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications and disbursements
- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio of the agri customers to ensure timely repayments
- Collaborate with other departments within the bank to provide a holistic banking experience to the customers
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the agri sector and provide insights to the bank for product development and market positioning
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in agri-lending or relationship management in a bank or financial institution
- Strong understanding of the agri sector and its financial requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
- Willingness to travel extensively within the rural areas of Erode
