The bulk of an average day is centered around designing and building new features/services and enhancing existing solutions.

Software Development & Implementation
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Build scalable microservices and APIs
- Implement error handling and logging
- Contribute to code reviews and testing
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Design and develop distributed system components
- Create efficient database schemas and queries
- Integrate with AWS cloud services
- Optimize application performance
- Implement security best practices
- Work within agile development teams
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews
- Document technical solutions and APIs
- Mentor junior developers when needed
- Communicate technical concepts effectively

- Working on ad-hoc requests and bug fixes
- Participating in doc reviews with product managers and stakeholders
- Supporting and delegating tickets while on-call
- Team meetings and presentations/learning sessions

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
