Job Description

  • Conduct Product Safety Management practices, like Factory Safety Audit, across Carter’s Vendor base to ensure products and processes are compliant to the best practice and process standards expected, reacting quickly to manage any safety concern.
  • Implement and support vendor management related to onboarding program and manufacturing capability.
  • Communicate with the factory to identify and offer the dedicated Product Safety Officer to cover their factory activities.
  • Coordinate with CGS to offer the regular PSO training to develop the PSO competency.
  • Train and implement different PSO activities to enhance the production safety control.
  • Review and approve the PSO report in regular basis.
  • Analyze the report data to suggest the proper training process.
  • Conduct the monthly PSO meeting to enhance the awareness.


Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in apparel, textile engineering / Chemistry, or other industry-related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years as Quality Assurance or Product Safety Management/ relevant experience in garment, kids wear will be highly advantage.
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies of QA/QC.
  • Experience audit procedures and collaborating with vendors, testing laboratories and third-party sourcing agents.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Capable of creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and reporting of metric.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English for both spoken and written
