Job Description

Job Summary:

By joining us as Engineer Planning, you will be handling the Effective PPC and release plans for the procurement, shop releases and sales on a monthly basis to minimize inventory, optimize load inside the plant and improve the sales.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To release the parts as per schedule ship date & customer RDSL.
  • Reschedule Of Customer Orders – Re-promise customer orders on deliveries based on availability of materials and acknowledgement from suppliers.
  • Liaise closely with purchasing, Internal Support Department on material and production capacity in order to fulfill customer requested date
  • Check and release pick slip to Stores/QC with all relevant information.
  • Review total releases available and balance items for shipment order to MPS plan.
  • Assign priority, check and release customer orders to shop floor timely with all relevant information.
  • To follow up WIP aging, on hold items and partial release items.
  • Contributing to Lead time reduction and inventory control programs
  • Support company policies, objectives and goals.
  • Follow and contribute to organizational rules and guidelines pertaining to Ethics, Safety & Quality
  • Actively participate in company’s continuous improvement programs.
  • Other task assigned as and when required.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
  • Generate monthly reports and presentations.
  • Bi-weekly meeting between MPS and buyer to discuss on the material alignment
  • Discuss with buyer and reschedule the MPS based on the Change order for not released orders.
  • 6-16th Week review with buyer and rescheduling based on SD report
  • Scheduling based on plant capacity, ATP and ensure Level loading.
  • Ensure that the orders are scheduled as per the LT / SLT with buyer acknowledgement
  • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering mechanical or related subject area, with minimum 3+ years proven experience
  • Knowledge of valve industry
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Familiar with Oracle application of Betsy & Billy. EMS & ISO 45001
  • Awareness about EMS & ISO 45001 practices
  • Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions
