This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to position Worldline's comprehensive payment solutions to meet enterprise client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of B2B sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target enterprise accounts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration objectives
- Collaborate with product teams to position Worldline's solutions effectively in competitive situations
- Analyze market trends and client needs to identify new business opportunities
- Create compelling business proposals and lead complex negotiations
- Work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams to ensure successful solution implementation
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Represent Worldline at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, preferably in payments, financial services, or technology sectors
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing accounts
- Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant acquiring, or related financial technologies
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to meet client business challenges
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales methodologies
- Knowledge of vertical markets such as Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Digital Commerce, or B2B marketplaces
- Experience with solution selling and consultative sales approaches
- MBA or related advanced degree is a plus
- International business experience and additional languages
- Experience with banking partnerships or financial institution sales
