Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Lucknow

Reporting To: CEO
Experience Required: 5–8 years in logistics/supply chain; rural logistics preferred
About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end movement of goods across our supply chain network. This includes managing warehousing, distribution, vendor coordination, last-mile delivery, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of agri-input products (seeds, agrochemicals, etc.) to remote and rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
Monitor stock levels across regional warehouses.
Ensure optimal inventory availability based on sales forecasts and seasonality.
Coordinate inward and outward movement with accuracy.
Transportation & Distribution Planning
Plan dispatch schedules to ensure timely delivery to distributors and customers.
Optimize routing and logistics costs across geographies (UP, MP, Bihar, Maharashtra).
Track vehicle utilization and enforce delivery SLAs.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
Liaise with 3PL partners, transporters, and courier companies.
Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
Process Optimization & Reporting
Implement logistics best practices for efficiency and cost reduction.
Maintain daily MIS and logistics performance dashboards.
Prepare weekly reports on logistics KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per delivery, etc.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with all government norms for agri-input logistics.
Manage shipping documents, invoicing, and e-way bills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field
MBA/PGDM in Operations (preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations; rural supply chain experience is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics tracking tools
Strong organizational and communication skills
Willingness to travel to regional hubs and warehouse locations
Preferred Attributes
Experience in agri-inputs, FMCG, or rural e-commerce supply chains
Ability to manage chaos and bring process discipline in fast-growing environments
Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities
Familiarity with regional challenges (seasonal demands, low-infra infra, etc.)
