About The Role

This position is responsible for procurement of licenses and permits for the sites in an assigned geographical areas. Timely carryout renewals , amendments and surrender of

licenses as per the company polices.

  • This position should Identifying important stakeholders for the respective geographical area, should regular connect with relevant stakeholders highlighting license conditions, risks and mitigating the same within timelines.
  • Accountable for implementing and overseeing the execution of compliance standards and controls related to licenses and permits for Flipkart Group companies. This position is also

accountable for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations that govern licenses and permits. the implementation of standard operating procedures and internal controls to ensure licenses and permits are procured in a compliant manner.

  • Ensures that an accurate and current listing of all required permits and licenses requirements at central, state and municipal level is maintained in the license and permits system. Identifies required operational controls and documentation that must be in

place in support of permits and licenses requirements, and designs and

implements the same.

  • Accountable for working directly with government officials on permit & licensing requirements and reacts to any identified exceptions for Group.
  • Identify potential risks, implementing policies and procedures to uphold laws and regulations and monitoring the company’s adherence to those policies and procedures. identifying and eliminating the risks of noncompliance Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance auditors.Assistant Manager
  • Understanding on the requirement of licenses and permits for e-commerce industry and knowlege of the relevant laws pertaining to the industry.
  • Indentification of potential risks, implementing policies and procedure to uphold laws and

regulations. Monitering the companies adherence to those polices and procedure.

  • Should posses legal research skill to understand the requirements license and permits,

process of applying license, fee structure, governing agency etc.

  • Should coordinate with various internal stakeholders in collection of required documents for

procurement of licenses, highlighting the license conditions, risks and mitigation of the same within timlines.

  • Should possess negotiation and communication skills to coordinate with external stakeholders while procurement of licenses.
  • Should have sound knowledge on the system and process to record the date pertaining to licenses in the Company's records / tools.
