As we grow, India is becoming a key operational and compliance hub. This role will be critical in setting the diamond standard for finance in this region.
Your Responsibilities
- Finance Leadership: Take full ownership of accounting, statutory compliance, and tax obligations for Nivoda LLP.
- Month-End & Reporting: Manage accurate and timely month-end closings; ensure clean P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Audit Readiness: Lead the India audit process and support global audit consolidation.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee accurate and timely filing of all tax returns; GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.
- People Management: Mentor, train, and guide 2-3 finance team members, driving performance and learning.
- Process Controls: Implement best practices, internal controls, and process improvements across finance operations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with global teams, external advisors, and auditors to resolve issues swiftly.
- Intercompany & Reconciliation: Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany accounts and all ledgers.
- System Ownership: Leverage NetSuite to streamline workflows and support reporting accuracy.
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA equivalent
- Education: B.Com/M.Com preferred with 70%+ academic record
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-articleship experience in accounting, audit, and tax
- Strong hands-on experience in Indian compliance (Income Tax, TDS, GST)
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Highly analytical, self-starter, and solution-oriented
