IT Business Analyst

Job Description

Seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a proven track record in gathering and analysing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and serving as the vital link between technical teams and stakeholders.

This role requires someone with a strong background in business process modelling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to facilitate seamless collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis :

• Capture, analyse, and document business processes, including As Is and To Be workflows.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  
  

Documentation And Design

• Create process flow diagrams using BPMN tools.
• Develop use cases and detailed functional specifications.
• Prepare wireframes and prototypes to visualise requirements and solutions.
  
  

Collaboration And Communication

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients/stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and understanding.
• Develop training literature and materials to streamline processes.
• Foster effective relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  
  

Testing And Validation

• Assist with integration and acceptance testing.
• Support in building and reviewing test cases to ensure functional alignment with business Qualifications and Skills : :
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or related domains.
• Expertise in using BPMN tools and process flow documentation.
• Proven experience in building use cases, functional specifications, and process documentation.
• Ability to develop training materials to accelerate user adoption and support transition.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in preparing wireframes and prototypes.
• Experience in supporting testing processes, including integration and acceptance testing.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, ClickUp, and Figma.
• Familiarity with user experience design tools.
• Background or project experience in the hospitality sector.
