Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in testing as per established procedures and methodologies.
  • Prepare test articles, fixtures, rigs, and equipment for testing.
  • Demonstrate understanding of test equipment functions and their impact on test result validity.
  • Understand the functionality of the product under test to assess test results.
  • Perform test stand installation, troubleshooting, setups, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure quick test setups in labs and maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Handle reactor lab testing activities, including setup and execution.
  • Operate and maintain CES Lab functions during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct equipment calibration and ensure accurate data acquisition.
  • Mount and unmount gas bottles, regulate gas flow, and operate switching mechanisms.
  • Develop and load automation scripts for experimental setups.
  • Share test data and results with requesters promptly.
  • Manage test system assembly and teardown as required.
  • Maintain compliance with 5S practices and safety protocols.
  • Document test processes, results, and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper function of test rigs.

  • High school diploma or equivalent in a relevant STEM field.
  • An associate’s degree or regionally applicable certification may be required.
  • Licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations may be necessary. Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in engine, engine component, or system-level testing.
  • Knowledge of engine/after-treatment (AT) components and validation/testing.
  • Experience running test rigs for endurance and performance testing.
  • Understanding of gas layouts, pressure regulation, and flow line switching.
  • Basic knowledge of ATS component validation, testing, and automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with test data acquisition and calibration processes.
  • Experience handling catalyst marking, storage, and micro/pilot core drilling.
  • Ability to work in shifts and manage lab operations effectively.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:-

  • Basic knowledge of computer operations, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of test rigs and their functions.
  • Ability to execute quality & HSE documentation work.
  • Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
