Job Description

As VP Operations, you will lead all operational aspects of the business. The company's model involves an agile and flexible interplay between farm teams, sales teams, and operations teams, and this role will be a key differentiator in our ability to create a unique alternative to existing agriculture supply chains.

The Operation Functions Include

• Managing modern distribution facilities.
• Planning, setting up, and managing seasonal farm procurement centers.
• Daily deliveries to customers (these include modern retail, wholesale, and general trade)
• Farm to destination logistics and handling processes.
• Ensuring fill rates, quality standards, and hygiene requirements across all facilities
• Development of SOPs.

The role will require strong manpower management skills, creative problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple objectives & stakeholders. Compensation will be commensurate with the role's requirements and will include company stock options.

Key Plan Multiple Aspects Of Operations, Including

• Manpower requirements and training.
• Target setting and KPI tracking.
• Cost efficiencies.
• Refine and develop SOPs for farm centres and distribution centres.
• Lead daily execution for distribution, farm operations, and logistics.
• Ensure inventory management across warehouses.
• Manage and oversee daily deliveries and customer interactions at delivery points.
• Team hiring & development.
• Ensuring the team's commitment to quality standards and hygiene requirements across all facilities.
• Work with the tech team to develop products to digitise the end-to-end fruit supply chain.
