Chief Financial Officer - Textile Business

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions including monthly MIS, balance sheet preparation, audit management, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a family-run export-driven business environment.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Management & Strategy:

• Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly MIS and annual balance sheets.
• Drive financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with company goals.
• Ensure smooth transition and continuity post the retirement of the current CFO.
  
  

Audit & Compliance

• Oversee statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all applicable tax, financial, and export frameworks.
  
  

Reporting & Analytics

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to the management team.
• Monitor key business performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of 5-6 finance professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, stability, and long-term commitment.
  
  

Operational Efficiency

• Collaborate with business heads to optimize cost control and financial processes.
• Drive improvements in cash flow, working capital management, and vendor payments.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial management.
• 10+ years in a CFO or senior finance leadership role, ideally in a family-run business.
• Prior experience in export-driven companies will be highly advantageous.
• Strong grounding in financial systems, MIS reporting, audit processes, and strategic planning.
