Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer with at least 2+ years of experience to join our team in Calicut. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of database design, development, and performance optimization. Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain database structures, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

Write optimized SQL queries for integration with applications and reporting tools

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across platforms

Monitor and tune database performance for high availability and scalability

Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to support application development

Maintain and update technical documentation related to database structures and processes

Assist in data migration and backup strategies

Work with cloud-based databases and services (preferably on Azure)
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role

Strong expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL database development

Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization

Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning

Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, or related services

Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes

Exposure to NoSQL or other modern database technologies is a plus
