Application Engineering Manager, Spaces Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in designing and integration of internal and third-party applications.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in API and enterprise architecture development.
• Experience working with technical vendors (e.g. systems integrators).
• Experience with Google-wide technologies.
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and agile.
• Understanding of corporate real estate processes and Integrated Workplace Management System.

Responsibilities

• Drive the multi-year technology roadmap for Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) applications, emphasizing third-party integrations. Lead large-scale technical projects from inception to completion.
• Manage technical engineering delivery by the team and engineering service suppliers. Oversee application development, systems integration, and ensure engineering excellence.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team. Influence technical direction and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Solve problems and drive solutions. Provide technical expertise in application engineering and enterprise architecture.
• Contribute to team culture and operational improvements.
