Job Profile For Junior Agronomy Scientist
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Agronomy Scientist to support our research and development initiatives in crop nutrition, fertilizer trials and sustainable farming practices.
Total Positions: 3
Qualification & Experience
- M.Sc. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in crop management or fertilizer trials.
- Familiarity with standard agronomic tools, practices and basic data analysis software.
- Required to travel frequently to rural and field sites.
- Strong communication, observation and reporting skills.
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Assist in planning and execution of agronomic field trials and demonstration plots.
- Collect and analyze soil, plant, and environmental data to assess fertilizer impact.
- Support senior scientists in drafting reports, data analysis, and technical presentations.
- Coordinate with farmers, research stations, and field staff to ensure data accuracy and timely execution of trials.
- Document observations related to crop performance, pest issues and nutrient deficiencies.
- Help in preparing technical training materials and participate in field-level outreach.
