Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design and develop exterior trim components such as bumpers, grilles, cladding, and functional trims.
- Understand the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.
- Develop CAD designs in CATIA based on engineering directions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the design meets functional and manufacturing requirements.
- Participate in design reviews to gather feedback and make necessary revisions.
- Populate the design in vehicle context and attach it to digital vehicle structure.
- Manage the release process for chassis components and change management.
- Apply GD&T for completed designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance design.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing automotive exterior trims.
- Strong knowledge of automotive standards, safety requirements, and regulations.
- Minimum four years' experience in new part development.
- Exceptional CATIA V5 skills and preferred experience in 3DX.
- Strong communication skills.
