Airside Monitoring Inspector- WHM - 13197

Job Purpose

Implementation of bird control / habitat measures in accordance with DGCA CAR and ICAO and other regulatory bodies. Deployment of mitigation measures as per WHM plan to mitigate bird strike and ensure uninterrupted, safe and efficient Aircraft Operations at IGl airport in each shift. The position is critical to ensuring the seamless integration of airside functions for uninterrupted airport operations.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation/B.Sc Biology subject like Zoology, Botany, Wildlife, Life Science, Natural Resource Management, etc. NA Biology background candidate must compulsory have indepth knowledge and expereince on wildlife management, avian biology, human-wildlife conflict, wildlife inventory management, etc.
• Should be in possession of valid LMV License (Min. 03 yrs old)
• Proficient knowledge of ICAO documents and DGCA CAR related to WHM like Doc 9137, Doc 9859, Manual on The ICAO Bird Strike Information System (IBIS), Doc 9332-AN/909, and DGCA CAR Aerodrome Advisory Circular - Guidance on Wildlife Hazard Management, AD AC NO. 6 of 2017, Aerodrome Advisory Circular 02 of 2011 DGCA, Aerodrome Advisory Circular - Management of Potential Wildlife Hazards at Licensed Aerodromes, AD AC NO. 1 of 2022 other Aviation and airport industry standards, policies, practices, and rules.
