Job Title: Supply Head – Swiggy Scenes
Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: India Supply Lead, Swiggy Scenes
Role Overview
The Supply Head for Swiggy Scenes will be responsible for leading and managing the supply operations of the business. This includes overseeing the on-ground BD team and a smart sales team, both crucial in driving the supply side of the Scenes platform. This person will play a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, driving key partnerships, and ensuring seamless collaboration across functions to meet business goals. The role comes with direct PnL responsibility and will require strong leadership and operational expertise to scale and manage a dynamic supply team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & People Management:
Manage an on-ground BD team (8-12 people) and a smart sales team (5-8 people, dependent on scale).
Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring team engagement, performance, and professional development.
Set goals and targets for teams, drive regular check-ins, and ensure execution against the business plan.
Supply Operations Management
Oversee and manage day-to-day BD meetings, onboarding, and the overall lead/funnel status for both the on-ground BD and smart sales teams.
Ensure smooth relationship management with key Rx and 3P partners, ensuring business continuity and growth.
Track performance metrics and lead efforts to improve supply performance in collaboration with marketing, content, and in-app teams.
Partner Relationship & Curation
Lead the identification and onboarding of new supply partners, including Rx and 3P.
Collaborate with the IP team to explore and drive partner curation opportunities and maintain strategic relationships.
Manage direct relationships with key partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration Across Functions
Work closely with marketing, content, and in-app teams to ensure smooth supply-side operations, including driving partner visibility, promotions, and product innovations.
Collaborate with the tech team on product enhancements and innovations to support supply growth and business scaling.
PnL Responsibility
Drive the PnL for the supply side of the business, ensuring targets are met for supply acquisition, performance, and profitability.
Monitor and report on supply KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved and adjustments are made as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain management, business development, or operations, preferably in a high-growth environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to scale and lead teams effectively.
PnL management experience with a strong focus on performance and results.
Deep understanding of Rx and 3P partnerships, with the ability to drive and manage relationships effectively.
Excellent collaboration and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with marketing, content, tech, and in-app teams.
Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments, with a drive for innovation and growth.
Preferred
Experience in the events, hospitality, or similar industries.
Familiarity with tech-driven product development and innovation.
