IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager-Business Banking to join our team in Delhi, India. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business banking clients, providing them with exceptional service and customized financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with business banking clients, understanding their financial goals and needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing them with expert guidance and solutions to help them achieve their business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cross-selling and upselling bank products and services
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments of potential clients to determine credit worthiness
  • Prepare and present credit proposals to credit committees for approval
  • Monitor and manage the performance of existing business banking clients, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with loan covenants
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and product to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients
  • Stay updated on market trends and competition to identify potential risks and opportunities for the bank
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business banking portfolio

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business banking or commercial lending
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, credit analysis, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
