As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high net worth clients in the North & East regions. This is a full-time position within our Retail Banking division, specifically in the Wealth Management department under the Sales team, reporting to the Private Banking Group.

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Banker to join our team in Delhi, India. As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high net worth clients in the North & East regions. This is a full-time position within our Retail Banking division, specifically in the Wealth Management department under the Sales team, reporting to the Private Banking Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with high net worth clients in the North & East regions
- Understand clients' financial goals and provide customized solutions to meet their needs
- Cross-sell and upsell various banking and wealth management products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Analysts to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to provide valuable insights to clients
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Private Banking Group
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in private banking or wealth management
- Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of high net worth clients
- In-depth knowledge of banking and wealth management products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- CFP or CFA certification is preferred
- Knowledge of local market and regulations is a plus
- Fluency in regional languages is an advantage
