QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Java & Selenium to join our quality assurance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications by designing and developing robust automated test solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and associated libraries.
• Build and enhance reusable components and maintain a scalable automation framework.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, andQA lead to understand test requirements and priorities.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines(e. g., Jenkins).
• Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide support for manual testing efforts as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation using Java and Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and Java best practices.
• Proficiency with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, and Postman.
• Solid understanding of API testing and RESTful services.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
• Exposure to cross-browser and mobile automation testing.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
