Senior Quality Analyst

As a Senior Quality Analyst - Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing efforts across our financial platforms, with a strong focus on mutual fund systems. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to ensure delivery of robust, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA planning, strategy, and execution across multiple financial products and releases.
• Perform detailed manual testing of applications, including mutual fund processing flows, investor transactions, and compliance rules.
• Design, build, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent.
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured for transaction, reconciliation, and reporting services.
• Ensure thorough coverage of test cases for mutual fund platforms, including NAV calculations, folio creation, SIP/STP/SWP setups, etc.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand functional and domain requirements.
• Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA and drive closure across teams.
• Integrate test execution in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior QA team members and ensure quality best practices are followed.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on QA experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong exposure to the mutual funds domain, including AMCs, RTAs, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Java/Python.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with mutual fund business processes, including investor onboarding, transaction processing, and reporting.
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Exposure to cloud testing or fintech integrations (e. g., CAMS, KFintech, NSDL).
