About the Role
The Public Arts Trust of India (PATI) seeks a motivated and experienced Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to build brand visibility, develop new audiences, and lead the design and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns. Based in Jaipur, this is a hands-on role suited for a proactive communicator with a track record of managing multi-platform marketing and audience engagement efforts, and someone excited by the challenge of growing an emerging cultural institution’s footprint across India and beyond.
You will work closely with the Director and curatorial teams to communicate the impact of PATI’s work through compelling storytelling, dynamic digital strategies, and community-driven campaigns, both online and on the ground. You’ll also contribute to the promotion of our major events, Jaipur Art Week and Jodhpur Arts Week, and support the organisation’s wider outreach and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the content calendar and ensure regular, high-quality posting across PATI’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and others as applicable)
- Produce and schedule content in alignment with the content calendar
- Track analytics and insights across all platforms, providing monthly reports to the Leadership Team and using the data to refine PATI’s digital strategy
- Design and disseminate regular Mailchimp newsletters, writing content that reflects PATI’s voice and values, while managing and segmenting PATI’s mailing list to target communications effectively across audience demographics
- Plan and execute communications around public programmes, including pre-buzz events, real-time event coverage, and post-event coverage
- Develop digital and on-ground marketing campaigns, and execute each campaign to expand awareness and engagement
- Identify and implement creative strategies to grow PATI’s audience—both digitally and through on-ground engagements
- Maintain and expand PATI’s contact databases (press, patrons, artists, stakeholders) and lead audience development initiatives by managing two distinct engagement tracks: VIP and Public
- Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for PATI’s social media and marketing platforms, and support the development of new metrics and reporting tools to enhance data collection and programme engagement
What We’re Looking For
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or related fields
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media, or event communications (internships or freelance work included)
• Familiarity with campaign planning, digital strategy, and paid promotions
• Working knowledge of tools such as Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and SurveyMonkey
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt across projects and platforms
• Interest in arts, culture, and community-building
• Strong storytelling skills, excellent writing ability, and a keen visual sensibility; basic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) are a plus but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal communication, with a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Basic proficiency in analytics tools and a desire to experiment, evaluate, and improve
