Job Description
The position is responsible for day-to-day accounting, treasury transactions, financial analysis, internal control and compliances. The position will provide active support by business partnering with internal and external stakeholders enabling accurate flow of information with faster processing of transactions with effective coordination.
The role will keep a close view on transactional challenges and conduct analysis of financial / commercial data and reporting for effective decision making. Further the role will keep a close eye on the evolving risks and initiate mitigation actions in coordination with leadership in an ongoing manner.
To be part of finance transformation to take the financial / commercial transactions to the next level and actively support leadership by driving ease of doing transactions, effective working capital management and improvement in profitability.
The role demands exposure to highly sensitive and confidential information of the organization and requires considerable use of discretion and judgement.
- Transactional Role – Timely and accurate month end closing as per group given timelines, accurate and timely day to day transactional responsibilities covering accounting and treasury. Revenue recognition as per IFRS, cost bookings & internal margins as per TP agreements in coordination with the commercial team. Reviews of costs/cost allocations to IBG MEA. Ensure updated customer and vendor master data, review of GLs and maintain hygiene of GL’s.
- FP&A Role - To work on Dashboard reports (Financials, debtors, working capital, cash flow, Internal Financial Controls (IFC) & EDPMS by collating data from various stakeholders, incl. JVs finance team, analyzing the data, consolidating and presenting the reports to various stakeholders with action plan. Support Finance Manager in finalizing strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting deck. Regular review, monitoring and control of business performance KPI’s.
- Internal Control and Compliances – Ensure various tax & compliance e.g. VAT & Corporate Tax compliance in UAE, regulatory compliance in India (RBI-EDPMS), GST, etc. Transfer Pricing (TP) validation compliance of intercompany transactions and facilitating business review packages.
- Audits Support – Planning and supporting audits in order to ensure timely completion. Finalize and validate the audit packs/financial statements in co-ordination with the Finance Manager.
- Business Process Improvements – Continuous lookout on business process improvement opportunities to drive effective working capital management, cost management and margin improvements. Identify areas of risk and highlight risk mitigation approach / process improvement, digitalization and automation opportunities.
- Cater to Adhoc requests on reporting from Central Finance Service (CFS) or internal management.
- Adherence to Order Booking Guidelines (OBG) / DOA
- Internal controls and statutory compliances
- Quality dashboard with financial performance and analysis.

- Timely accounting, commercial support & payment to Suppliers / Vendors / Dealers
