The Early Career Programs Associate – Content Marketing will support and grow Spotify’s presence in the music and podcast ecosystem to drive cultural leadership for the brand in the market.

This role sits within Spotify India’s marketing team and is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about all things content, social media, pop culture and can thrive in a fast paced environment.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of culture, content, and community—shaping the future of audio in some of India’s most vibrant languages.

What You'll Do

  • Co-create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across brand/product, music and podcasts which are designed to drive brand, content and product level metrics.
  • Support and grow our music focus areas via artist & playlist marketing, IP building, experiential activations and social media campaigns.
  • Execute global music programs and artist marketing campaigns by localising launch and providing on and off platform support.
  • Plan and implement campaigns/activations to drive our podcast category & creator focused marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the social media team and co-own the content calendar, creative process and distribution/publishing plan on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze content and campaign performances and report on learnings, insights and results which could inform improvements.
  • Monitor internal analytics and listener data to inform our focus areas across brand/product, music and podcasts.
  • Manage and communicate with the agency to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends, technologies and platforms to drive adoption of Spotify via new content experiences.

Who You Are

  • 1-2 years of experience in the media & entertainment industry, preferably in roles related to content and social marketing.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for brand storytelling and possesses an editorial instinct.
  • You bring an understanding of audience needs, and platform dynamics—whether it’s a social-first campaign, a long-form thought piece, or a compelling product narrative.
  • Experience working with copy, creative, production and tech partners.
  • You’re data-curious, experiment-driven, and always on the pulse of trends in music, podcasts, tech, and culture.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with a “figure-it-out” mindset.
  • Great communicator, both in writing and in person, and comfortable working with external stakeholder and cross-functional teams.
  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to contribute ideas in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English & Hindi, additional languages like Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace; bonus if familiar with Airtable, Canva, or Notion or other creative tools.

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Mumbai and will require occasional travel for on-ground events, campaign shoots and artist and creator interactions. This role will report to the Content and Social Lead in India.
