About The Role
As a Founder’s Analyst, you’ll work directly with the founders to bring data clarity, performance tracking, and insight-driven decision-making to every core function at Optimite - from sales and operations to hiring and delivery. You’ll turn raw numbers into simple dashboards, uncover patterns in how we grow, and become the analytical backbone of the Founder’s Office. About The Role
As a Founder’s Analyst, you’ll work directly with the founders to bring data clarity, performance tracking, and insight-driven decision-making to every core function at Optimite - from sales and operations to hiring and delivery. You’ll turn raw numbers into simple dashboards, uncover patterns in how we grow, and become the analytical backbone of the Founder’s Office. What will you do?
As the Founder’s Analyst, you’ll focus on Data Dashboarding & Reporting (40%), Insights & Decision Support (30%), and Forecasting & Planning (30%).
Data Dashboarding & Reporting (40%)
- Build and maintain dashboards for revenue, churn, turnaround time, delivery velocity, team utilization, hiring forecasts, etc.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for founders and department heads.
- Connect data across ClickUp, Notion, HubSpot, and GSheets into one single source of truth.
- Dashboard Accuracy & Usage: % of teams actively using the dashboards you build.
- Report Timeliness: On-time delivery of weekly/monthly reports.
- Visibility Score: Founder feedback on insight clarity and decision support.
- Analyze performance patterns across functions (e.g., designer throughput, client health, team capacity).
- Identify bottlenecks, underutilized resources, or revenue leakage.
- Support founders with one-off analyses on team planning, client performance, or operational efficiency.
- Insights Impact: # of decisions supported by your insights.
- Anomaly Detection Rate: Number of critical issues flagged through your analysis.
- Time to Insight: Average time to provide decision-ready insight on a new request.
- Build predictive models to support hiring, client onboarding, and revenue growth planning.
- Support OKR planning cycles with data-driven goal setting.
- Provide budget estimates, margin tracking, and high-level business metrics.
- Forecast Accuracy: Deviation between projected and actual outcomes.
- Hiring & Load Balancing Accuracy: Alignment between team capacity and actual load.
- Planning Satisfaction: Feedback from founders & Ops teams on forecast reliability.
- 2–4 years experience in business analytics, strategy, BizOps, or consulting roles.
- Proficient in GSheets/Excel, Notion databases, ClickUp, and HubSpot (or equivalent tools).
- Strong with numbers, but even better at turning them into decisions.
- Systems-thinker with a bias for clarity, visibility, and speed.
- Comfort working directly with founders in fast-moving, evolving environments.
- Familiarity with early-stage startups, agencies, or remote-first companies.
- Experience building data workflows, dashboards, or automations using Zapier, Make, or n8n.
- Experience managing or assisting OKR/KPI planning.
- Founders and leaders can access performance insights without asking.
- Your dashboards are the first thing opened in every weekly or monthly meeting.
- You’ve created clarity at scale by connecting data, spotting problems, and enabling faster decisions.
- You love digging into numbers, trends, and patterns.
- You’re the person who always asks, “But what does the data say?”
- You’re quietly rigorous, with a systems mindset.
