Senior analyst

About The Role

Sberbank India is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior analyst to join our expanding team in our office in Delhi. Senior Analyst will be responsible for handling end to end processing of the Trade Finance Transactions in The Division of Trade Finance in India.

Responsibilities

• Support in Structuring of Trade Finance transactions related to the following:
• Letter of Credit - Includes LC Advising, LC Issuance, LC Confirmation, LC Discounting, other new products.
• Bank Guarantee - Includes BG advising, BG issuance, BG confirmation and other new products.
• Collection Bills Under URC-522
• Handling documentation and getting it authorized in the Core Banking
  
  

System.

• Other New Trade Finance products (from time to time).
• Record Keeping: proper keeping of the records of documents related to Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, other Trade Finance transactions.
• Supporting Trade Finance operations (pertaining to India Business) of Sberbank Head Office, Moscow.
• Supporting in Internal Audits, Concurrent Audit, etc.
• Developing a thorough understanding of the client's business operations and industry environment in
  
  

order to make recommendations.

• Preparing HPLBCs, MIS and assist in the preparation of process documents for the department.
• Liaising up with other teams of the Bank for getting the transaction processed within timelines and
  
  

arranging necessary approvals if any

• Always adhere to KOP and KPI
• Manage and ensure compliance (KOP, Ops manual etc.) with internal policies and audit and regulatory requirements
• Support and achieve excellent partnership with branch operations, and respective sales staff.
  
  

Requirements

• Master degree in economics or finance from a top university
• deep practical knowledge of Trade Finance Products like LC, BG, Collections, etc.
• successful 6+ year experience in the role of analyst for Trade Finance.
• developed professional communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
