What You Will Be Doing
- Leading infrastructure transformations from legacy systems to AWS cloud, ensuring seamless migrations and lift-and-shift operations.
- Architecting and deploying robust monitoring and automation frameworks for operational excellence.
- Engaging in proactive system monitoring, incident management, database migration, and cost optimization strategies.
- Endlessly documenting issues in Jira or getting bogged down in status meetings - we value results-driven action.
- Maintaining obsolete systems without the opportunity to innovate - your role is to drive forward-thinking improvements.
- Being hindered by red tape - you'll have the autonomy to implement immediate solutions.
- Confined to narrow technical scopes - this role demands a wide-ranging skill set.
- Struggling to secure funding for critical enhancements - we prioritize infrastructure investment.
Standardize and enhance the reliability of cloud infrastructure across our product suite by implementing advanced monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
Basic Requirements
- Expert-level AWS infrastructure knowledge, as AWS is our core platform.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or JavaScript for automation and tool development.
- Proven experience with production database management and migration across various engines (MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
- Advanced capabilities in Docker/Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Extensive Linux systems administration skills.
