Job Description

“While we have our offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Pune this position is hybrid with you being able to report to a location nearest to your current location, if the need arises.”

Perficient India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions for a prestigious healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and other ServiceNow modules, with a strong understanding of healthcare industry requirements and compliance standards.

The Technical Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor Junior Architects and /or development team members.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with client business needs.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and others.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define architecture, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and integration planning.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform with at least 3+ years in an architect role.
  • Proven expertise in ITSM, ITOM (including Discovery and Event Management), CMDB, and Service Mapping.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and integration (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Experience with healthcare domain projects and understanding of HIPAA or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and custom application development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are highly desirable.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to SecOps, GRC, HRSD, or Customer Service Management (CSM) modules.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools.
