Responsibilities
R2R Finance Associate —owning books close, collections, and compliance. Your rigour will give leadership a real‑time view of cash, margins, and runway while keeping us audit‑ready as we expand globally.ResponsibilitiesOwn the close:
Post journals, reconcile ledgers, and deliver monthly/annual closes within
T+5 .Accounts receivable & collections:
Raise invoices via
Zoho Books/Chargebee , monitor ageing, follow up with customers, and escalate delinquent accounts (including drafting legal notices when necessary).Accounts payable:
Validate vendor bills, manage approval workflows, and schedule payments—optimising DPO without hurting relationships.GST/TDS & compliance:
File returns on time, maintain schedules, and support transfer‑pricing/withholding queries.Bank & wallet reconciliations:
Match Stripe/Razorpay payouts, investigate variances, and keep suspense at zero.Reporting & analysis:
Prepare MIS packs—P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow—highlighting variances and actionable insights for leadership.Audit & controls:
Maintain documentation, support statutory and SOC 2 audits, and drive process improvements and automation.Must‑haves1–3 yrs in
R2R/GL accounting or Finance Ops for a SaaS/tech company.Bachelor’s in
Commerce/Finance/Accounting ;
CA Inter, CMA, or MBA‑Fin preferred.Solid knowledge of
IND AS/IFRS and revenue recognition for subscription models.Hands‑on with
Excel/Google Sheets
(pivot, lookups) and an accounting system (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Netsuite, Tally, or SAP).Working understanding of
GST, TDS, and ROC compliances in India.Strong written & verbal communication—able to chase collections while preserving relationships.High attention to detail and integrity—you treat ₹1 and ₹1 M the same.Nice‑to‑haveExperience with
Stripe ,
Razorpay , or
Chargebee billing workflows.Familiarity with SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, NRR) and unit economics.Basic SQL for ad‑hoc data pulls; Google Looker Studio dashboards.Exposure to process automation
