About The Role

This position has been created to support the needs of growing needs of the India Technical Center (ITC). With numerous regional projects getting addressed at ITC. This position requires a candidate that has sound project management expertise to execute the upcoming compliance projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead various projects at Kohler India Technical Center in Pune
  • Work with global business teams on various projects
  • Customer interaction, Scope definition, Project Planning, Resource planning
  • Requirements gathering
  • Planning and executing various types of projects.
  • NPD - Engineering Projects (Kitchen & Bath, Faucets, Other)
  • CPD projects
  • Compliance projects
  • VAVE projects
  • Support in executing projects on time by following up with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Conducting daily/weekly meetings, follow up with teams to ensure that tasks are completed.
  • Assist in Documenting and publishing the project reports.
  • Assisting for flawless project execution with Project Management in ‘disciplined approach’.
  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement, ISO
  • Initiate and generating various reports (operational metrics)
  • Benchmark and implement various methods to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Being a part of ISO team executing flawless project documentation.
  • Bring “Execution Discipline” and rigor to the daily working style
  • Ensure that the meeting minutes are published in a clear and concise manner
  • Ensure that the weekly plan updates are published, and risks are highlighted and brought to the attention of stakeholders for removing any potential roadblocks
  • Ensure that Monthly reports are submitted as per the Quality set standards for review and audits
  • Ensure that all the online portals (MS Project Online) are kept up to date for global live reports
  • Conflict Management expertise
  • Play the key role of representing the Leadership team to the core team members and vice versa
  • Be accountable to execute the entire project that is assigned in a disciplined way

Qualification & Experience

Required:

  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Very good Presentation skills
  • Should have sound stakeholder management with global counterparts (US, APAC. EMEA).
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience (of which approximately 6+ years in core Project Management role)
  • Documentation skills, attention to details
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Should have worked on compliances (ISI, BIS)
  • Should have a good understanding of manufacturing processes

Preference For Candidates Would Be Given If They Have

  • 8+ years of experience (6+ years in Project Management role)
  • Experience in MS Project & related Project Management tools.
  • Experience in Past roles in Engineering or Manufacturing is a bonus.
  • Data Management / Data Analytics experience preferred.
  • Engineering design related exposure
  • PMP Certification is an added advantage.

Other Details

Since the role would also include to support USA and Europe regions, the associate should have the flexibility to work in shifts that may range from 6 am-3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30 pm OR in regular India working hours. (Subject to change)

Travel

This role may demand travel ~15% domestic / international.
