Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Credit Risk Management is responsible for lending activities and related credit exposures. The group is organized by geography with teams aligned by industry and process. CIB Credit Risk Managers lead the client credit relationship in partnership with CIB Coverage

Credit Risk Middle Office (CRMO) continues its expansion to broader Wholesale Risk Support including Country, Treasury Services (TS), Worldwide Securities Services (WSS) and Market Risk. CRMO supports the CIB credit approval and decision making processes for the North America Credit Executives in the Risk Organization

This role is to support Counterparty Credit, Infrastructure and Capital (CCIC) Credit Risk Team to manage control functions for Derivatives, Securities and F&O products in Credit Risk Infrastructure. It provides a variety of opportunities to mitigate key risks. This is fast pace working environment. This role demands dedication and fast learning ability. The role includes manages a core small team of Credit Risk support professionals

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preform various daily control functions including but not limited to Mispricing, Fail trades, Radar Roll back etc. for various products
  • Ability to understand various attributes related to exposure calculation in Credit Risk and perform root cause analysis for simple/complex issues
  • Preform various controls checks in Firmwide Quarterly and Annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) exercise mandated by The Federal Reserve
  • Ability to present various process related metrics to senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management and various stakeholders in Credit Risk, Operations, Technology, Legal, Projects Services etc. across the firm
  • Ability to follow up on assignments in a timely manner, exercise good judgment and work accurately under pressure
  • Manage issues and ensure appropriate onward escalation and timely resolution
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to address problems, process efficiencies, control gaps etc


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years in a Derivative Operations (Middle Office / Back Office) role
  • Working knowledge counterparty credit risk management frameworks is preferred
  • Interested in the regulatory landscape and its impact to the markets and financial industry
  • Very detailed oriented; at the same time, being able to think holistically, creatively and critically
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with and sell ideas to a wide spectrum of groups
  • Self-starter; comfortable expressing ideas and challenging the status quote
  • Ability to learn new computer applications or risk systems quickly; advanced in Excel (Macros, VBA preferred), PowerPoint, and Word applications
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure with a commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
