We are now looking for a Customer Portal Project Manager to join our Customer Portal team in Pune, India!

Position Overview: Vertiv is seeking a Customer Portal Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring development activities for the global customer portal go smoothly with blockers raised and addressed, that the project sticks to schedule, and that Jira is used to keep everyone updated on progress. By leading with Agile best practices, leading daily scrum meetings, and utilizing tools like Jira for project tracking, you will maintain a bird's-eye view of the project trajectory, enabling informed decision-making and fostering an environment of continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the customer portal project for Vertiv, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Collaborate closely with the Customer Portal Product Manager and Customer Portal Product Owner to align project objectives, milestones, and user requirements.

Direct and organize project tasks, resources, and timelines through active planning and scheduling to meet business goals.

Partner with the Customer Portal CoE Leader to oversee the development team's activities, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Implement and manage project updates and progress using Jira, ensuring that all tasks and objectives are accurately reflected and current.

Lead sprint planning sessions to define sprint goals, distribute tasks among team members, and set realistic timelines that adhere to the overall project schedule.

Conduct daily scrum meetings to monitor progress, identify blockers, and facilitate resolution of issues to keep the project on track.

Adhere to Agile best practices, methodologies, and principles to enhance project efficiency, team performance, and continuous improvement

Maintain open and effective communication with the Customer Portal Communication Specialist to streamline information dissemination to stakeholders.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure the integration and alignment of the customer portal with broader business functions.

Monitor project risks and scope creep, implementing mitigation strategies to stay on track with deadlines and deliverables.

Provide regular project reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.

Ensure the customer portal interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing customers to register products, manage services, and access necessary information with ease.

Oversee the provision of support and training to the development team as needed to ensure the effective use of project management tools and methodologies.

Manage the delivery of all portal functionalities, including live monitoring of equipment, ensuring they meet client needs and operational requirements.

Guarantee compliance with all company policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices throughout the project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.

Proven experience of at least five years as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering software development projects, preferably in a B2B environment.

Solid understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies, with certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM) preferred.

Experience with Jira or similar project management software, demonstrating proficiency in tracking project progress and managing tasks.

Demonstrable knowledge of Agile frameworks, with experience leading scrum or similar Agile meetings.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project milestones.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders and technical teams.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.

Ability to navigate and lead projects within a complex, global corporate structure.

Strong organizational skills and the capability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Adept in risk management and project impact analysis, with the ability to foresee potential issues and develop contingency plans.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices in project management.

A customer-focused approach, ensuring that the portal development aligns with customer needs and enhances their interaction with the company.

International experience is required

Experience in an international System Integrator company is a plus

Strong spoken and written English language skills are required
