Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Unit HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition within a specific business unit. The Business Unit HR Manager will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand their talent needs and develop workforce plans to support business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for the business unit, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing a variety of sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Conduct regular talent reviews and workforce planning sessions with business leaders to identify current and future talent needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management, employee relations, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the organization.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development within the business unit.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management and talent acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR professional, with a minimum of 7 years in HR management and recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Experience in leading recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
