Overview of job

Mindshare Fulcrum is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Manager – Content+ to join us.
Clients realize that now more than ever, content is what consumers are engaging with. Hence, we’ve witnessed a steady growth in most of the advertisers’ investment towards content marketing.

In this role, we’re looking for someone who lives, breathes and eats pop-culture and has a hand onthe pulse of the Indian consumer. A genuine interest in knowing what content do the Indian audiences consume and why? All this along with a knack to translate this passion into impactful and sustainable content marketing propositions for brands.

On the ground, you’ll be responsible for understanding the challenges & goals faced by brands, identifying the right associations for them by using entertainment as marketing platform. Entertainment includes Movies (Bollywood, Hollywood, Indian regional languages), Digital Content (articles, videos, web series etc), Music and Talent (celebrity/influencers)

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Understanding of the ecosystem: Building synergies with brands and Entertainment opportunities
  • Build relationship with internal stakeholders (all agency teams)

In six months:

  • Building proposition for brands to use entertainment properties as marketing platform
  • Building a robust entertainment calendar for brands to follow.
  • Raising the bar with award worthy innovations in the Entertainment space

In 12 months:

  • Building strategic proposition for brands to use Films, Licensing, Music, Digital Entertainment content and Talent as marketing platform.

What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

  • Build real-time knowledge of Entertainment industry in India and globally.
  • Build strong partnerships with production houses (Bollywood, regional and OTT)
  • Building robust entertainment calendars for brands and create synergies for brand propositions
  • Pro-active thinking to build campaign ideas for brands using various entertainment properties.

What you’ll bring:

  • Post Graduate in Marketing
  • Minimum 4-5 years of professional work experience.
  • Experience in Content (Entertainment vertical preferred) with exposure to Films, OTT, Talent and Music. Existing relationships with entertainment industry and has worked with leaders in the entertainment category would be a plus point.
  • Passion for all things pop-culture.
  • Ability to think creative, translate an idea into a powerful pitch and an attitude to bring the idea to fruition.
  • Storytelling skills to build a powerful narrative & the confidence to present.
  • A hawk eye for news & trends in the content market.
  • Understanding of media will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Inter-personal skills to navigate the internal & external stakeholder ecosystem.
