Manage, develop and expand the Area logistics business, provide direction and leadership, responsible for ensuring Area profitable growth, establishment of industry leading service standards and optimum utilisation of business assets/human resources in accordance with the Country business strategy and local business environment Responsible of overall office in terms of Sales, Finance, HR, Products and General Administration with major focus being Sales and Products.

1. Over all responsible for the day to day functioning of the operations of Airfreight, Ocean Freight and Customs brokerage
2. Measure, collaborate and take suitable actions with all stake holders to achieve the stations budget, with respect and result
3. Engage with team leads of the products to meet the customer promises in a timely manner.
4. Have matrices drawn up to measure progress of activities impacting financials of the station and the customer experiences.
5. Attend the PD sessions and understand the staffing strength of the day, guide the team to address the operational irregularities, exceptions, customer complaints
6. Take stock of the progress in KPI and explain how each ones activities contribute to the overall results of customer experience and organizational goals.
7. Identify and work towards eliminating waste and deploying IRR initiatives in processes and thus improve staff efficiency.
8. Suitably address matters of escalation from customers, corporate office, branches and network
9. Engage with customers, internal & network colleagues to improve operational performance
10. Engage with Regional managers, Product HOD and RD, to address repetitive failures from shipping line, airlines and other vendors, while taking actions towards day to day exceptions.
11. Conduct periodic team meetings of all products, to set course in the direction the organization is driving towards
12. Identify development needs of staffs and attempt to have right talent doing the right job allocation.

14. Attract, retain and grow good talent.
15. Influence and take necessary actions to be the employer of choice

18. Address matters pertaining to DSO & DPO
19. Make recommendations to be frugal on expenses
20. Make recommendations and take necessary actions in collaboration with stake holders, to address poor performance from staffs.
21. Act as focal point for escalated issues
22. Drive issue prevention & resolution for key and strategic customers
23. Play an active role in supporting top level sales activities, being involved in large scale and strategic sales pitches
24. Responsible for achieving sales targets and sales reports.
25. Plan & execute the Hinterland growth (from areas like Assam / Sikkim / Orrisa and Jamshedpur)
26. Liaise with Network offices to increase our Collect business from East Market
27. Develop ITR business to Bangladesh /Nepal & Bhutan
