Job Description

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with Development background to join out technology team in Clarivate. You will be responsible for implementation, configuration, optimization, management, documentation and support the continuous delivery of Clarivate software products.

You will be working in a highly agile, innovation driven and DevOps centric software product organization alongside with product engineering team, cloud and software security engineers, architects, agile delivery managers and software support teams on emerging technology solutions in cloud computing, containerization, orchestration, serverless, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery and security automation.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 7 years of professional experience with 2 years minimum in development

• Experience on CI/CD and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, TeamCity, AWS Code pipeline, Packer, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar CI/CD orchestrator tool(s).

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including building Docker files and images, establishing Docker image repositories, and creating, managing, and orchestrating a Kubernetes based infrastructure in cloud or on-prem.

• Proficient at least one programming language (e.g. Python)

• Expertise in AWS Cloud or Azure

• Expertise in front-end web development (HTML, JavaScript, Coffee, CSS, , etc.)

What will you be doing in this role

• Drive analysis, design, and delivery of quality technical solutions, projects in line with product roadmaps, customer expectations, and internal priorities.

• Developing infrastructure-as-code and automated scripts meant for building or deploying workloads in various environments through CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as, Terraform, CloudFormation Or CDKs

• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop software solutions.

About the Team

Cloud Architecture and DevOps Engineering is a part of Product Engineering in Clarivate IP Business Unit. This team is responsible for driving cloud native initiatives, CI/CD standardization support in improving DevOps engineering practices and building future proof cloud solution.

Working Hours

This is a permanent position with Clarivate. you should be flexible with working hours to align with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
